Here Comes The Sun

My mom probably would have done this to me, if she could have gotten away with it! :-)

I just discovered Hamster Tails a few days ago and already finished the archives. I definitely see your influences: Peanuts, the Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes, and Bloom County are some of my favorites, too. Thanks for the fun strip! :)

You’re welcome, Joan! Thanks for the nice note and for reading all of the archives! Don’t forget to read the new ones when they come out, too! 😉

Of course I’ll be reading the new strips! I’m not a fair weather reader. All long as you feel like putting them out here, I’ll be reading them.
Sunscreen and bubblewrap weren’t around when I was that age (and I really could have used the sunscreen!) And the playgrounds were paved with concrete and had metal play equipment: slides, swings, and monkey bars. Many a kid got burned on these in the summer, not to mention the bruises when you collided with them. How about a playground story? The new ones are much safer now, but some kids will find a way to do damage, to themselves and others.
