And I just noticed the phone…..wow…..it’s like a flashback to our childhood! I distinctly remember trying to wind as much of the cord as possible around one of my fingers while I talked.

When my kids see this one, they won’t know what Jimmy’s talking into. :-O “Dad, why does Jimmy have a big bar stuck to his head? And what’s that curly thing?”

Lol… I was a big-time phone cord winder too. And if there was a little kink in the cord, you know, the curl was messed up someplace, I would work it and work it during a conversation, wrapping and re-wrapping it around my finger, trying to fix the curl. I have very little to do now during my phone conversations. They should put cords on cell phones, just so we have something to do.

Well, I have a cord on my phone at work, so that will suffice. But it’s not a very good one. It gets kinked up all the time, and even when I unplug the cord from the handset and unkink it,. it’s still not right. It’s this little low-level annoyance that won’t go away…..kinda like that bit of hangnail that you can’t quite bite off and you don’t want to pull off, because it’ll tear too deep and end up bleeding, so you just leave it there. But you know it’s just laughing at you.

My phone cord at work is exactly like that….. and I have hangnails like that ALL the time.

Get out of my head! Get out of my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
